Gorham Archive  – 1989 Sterling Renaissance Wreath 2nd Edition – The size of this ornament is about 4″ Diameter.  The Gorham Archive Series started in 1988.  This is the 2nd Edition  It is flat on the back side.  It is Hallmarked Holiday Wreath, Gorham Archive Collection, Sterling, YR89/1.   The second in the Archive collectible series, the Renaissance Wreath is a lasting reminder of the true Christmas tradition which was celebrated in 18th Century France by adorning homes with branches of Evergreen symbolizing the Eternal spirit of Christmas.  Gorham brings back the Gracious elegance of the French Renaissance period with one of the most popular symbols of Christmas, the Wreath.
