Holly and Berries Sterling Silver Christmas Ornament 1994 Hand & Hammer #1472.  This sterling collectible represent a holiday favorite flower.  Because of the thorny leaves, Holly is regarded as a symbol of Christ’s crown of Thorns.  It is also said to be the tree of the cross.  A legend relates that all the trees, knowing the Christ was to be crucified, splintered so that their wood could not be used for that purpose.  Only the Holly allowed its wood to be used for the passion.
The size is about 2-1/4″ Tall by 1-1/2″ Wide.  This item is in Like New collectible condition.  Comes with Original Box and Card. Hand and Hammer Ornaments are the perfect size to wear on a chain as a pendant.   It was first produced by Hand and Hammer Silversmiths in 1994. Hand Made in the USA.
