Steadfast Tin Soldier Sterling Christmas Ornament.  The design of this handmade Sterling Silver ornament was inspired by a Hans Christian Andersen tale.  Andersen’s stories have been published in over two thousand editions and in eighty languages.  Andersen described his fairy tales as “The poetry of the people.. it represents all poetry.”  He often said “Life is the most wonderful fairy tale of all.”    Hand and Hammer Silversmiths made this item for Lord & Taylor Stores in 1990.
The size of this ornament is about 2-3/4″ X 1″.  It has a place for a hook to hang on your tree. Perfect size to wear as a pendant on a chain or ribbon.  This Sterling Silver Ornament is Brand New in Box.
