Description
This delicate angel is derived from a 19th century woodcut by British artist Aubrey Beardsley. The ornament depicts an angel with her hands folded in prayer. Bearsdley (1872-1898) was known for his use of black and white patterns which expresses the spirit of the Art Nouveau Movement. He studied under the artists as Burne-Jones and was extremely interested in Japanese prints.
