Harrison Opera House Sterling Christmas Ornament 2600 Hand & Hammer 1999. The Edythe C. and Stanley L. Harrison Opera House Norfolk Virginia.   This commemorative sterling silver Christmas ornament celebrates the 1999-2000 season as the 25th season of providing Virginians with one of the most complete entertainment experiences available.  Under the artistic leadership of General and Artistic Director Peter Mark, the company is known and respected nationwide for the identification and presentation of the finest young American singers, for the musical and dramatic integrity of it’s productions, and for the ingenuity and variety of it’s education and outreach programs. In March of 1994, by unanimous vote of the Virginia General Assemble, Virginia Opera was named “The Official Opera Company of the Commonwealth of Virginia” in recognition of the company’s contribution to the Commonwealth of Virginia and to the world of Opera.
The size of this ornament is about 1-1/2″ high  X  2″ wide. This Sterling Silver Ornament is in excellent like new collectible condition.
