Prancer Reindeer dated 1998 Sterling Christmas Ornament. In the Santa Claus myth, Santa Claus’s sleigh is pulled by flying reindeer. These were first named in the 1823 poem “A Visit from St. Nicholas”, where they are called Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donder, and Blixem.
The size of this ornament is about 2-1/2” Tall by 2” Wide. Hand and Hammer ornaments are the perfect size to wear on a chain as a pendant. Hand Made in the USA.
