George HW Bush Presidential Seal 0858E. This ornament was produced for the National Inauguration committee in Washington DC. to commemorate the inauguration of the president of the United States. This ornament has tremendous detail, and has this engraving: George Bush 41st President United States of America January 20th, 1989 USHS Sterling USA. The size of this ornament is about 1-3/4″ X 1-3/4″. George Herbert Walker Bush (born June 12, 1924) was the 41st President of the United States (1989–1993). He was also Ronald Reagan’s Vice President (1981–1989), a congressman, an ambassador, and Director of Central Intelligence. Bush is the father of George W. Bush, the 43rd President of the United States, and Jeb Bush, former Governor of Florida. He is the last president to have been a World War II veteran. Until the election of his son George W. Bush to the presidency in 2000, Bush was commonly referred to simply as “George Bush”; since that time, the form “George H.W. Bush”, “Bush41”, or “George Bush, Sr.” has come into common use as a way to distinguish the father from the son.
