King’s Chapel Christmas Christmas Ornament 1998. This handmade collectible represents King’s Chapel, home of the first Anglican congregation in Boston. Founded at Tremont Street in 1686, the chapel was built as a place of worship for British soldiers. In 1754 the present building replaced the original small wooden structure, Because it’s builders ran out of funds, the chapels steeple was never completed. Among the pews inside was one where condemned prisoners could hear a special sermon before their execution.
 
This item was made for Shreve Crump & Low. The size of this ornament is about 2″ X 1-3/4″. It has a place for a hook to hang on your tree. Perfect size to wear as a pendant on a chain or ribbon. Hand Made in the USA.
