Description
Beardsley Angel Sterling Christmas Ornament 1990 by Hand and Hammer #1040. This delicate angel is derived from a 19th century woodcut by British artist Aubrey Beardsley. The ornament depicts an angel with her hands folded in prayer. Bearsdley (1872-1898) was known for his use of black and white patterns which expresses the spirit of the Art Nouveau Movement. He studied under the artists as Burne-Jones and was extremely interested in Japanese prints.
The size of this ornament is about 3-1/4″ X 1″. This ornament is the perfect size to wear on a chain. Hand Made in the USA!
