2003 Star Sterling Silver Christmas Ornament Hand & Hammer #3236 . This is the 10th Edition of the annual Star series from Hand & Hammer. This series started in 1994. In Christian tradition, the Star of Bethlehem, also called the Christmas Star, revealed the birth of Jesus to the magi, or “wise men”, and later led them to Bethlehem. The star appears in the nativity story of the Gospel of Matthew, where magi “from the east” are inspired by the star to travel to Jerusalem. The size of this ornament is about 2-1/4″ high X 2″ wide. This Sterling Silver Ornament is in excellent like new collectible condition.
