Persian Star Sterling Silver Christmas Ornament #2826 Hand & Hammer 2001. This sterling collectible shows and interlocking design that is often associated with Persian architecture.   In Christian tradition, the Star of Bethlehem, also called the Christmas Star, revealed the birth of Jesus to the magi, and later led them to Bethlehem.  Many Christians see the star as a miraculous sign to mark the birth of the Christ (or messiah). Some theologians claimed that the star fulfilled a prophecy, known as the Star Prophecy.
The size of this ornament is about 2″ high  X  1-3/4″ wide. This Sterling Silver Ornament is in excellent like new collectible condition.
